We present you the DANIA bergere, in GRAY color with black metal legs. The lining of the entire bergere has been made with velvet while the extra waist pillow is covered with the same fabric. It is a simple but at the same time imposing structure that will be the center of interest in any living room.
Mini Story: The story of the Bergere (see bergere) begins somewhere in 1720, in the salons of the Palace of Versailles during the time of Louis XV, where it was considered the seat of the nobles and the upper class. Its construction from special wood, combined with the luxurious fabrics of the time, gave it the feeling of a throne. From its early years it was considered the queen of seating, both for the privacy it offered with its open arms, high back and turned sides, and for its dominance of the space as a decorative element. The Bergere armchair changed its appearance over the years (depending on the season and fashion). Dressed in floral fabrics, leather, many different patterns with various textures, even Chesterfield. Although over the years we have seen variations of the bergere design, like dressed arms, higher backrests, bigger cushions, the basic idea of the large, comfortable armchair has never changed. A big comfortable armchair is often better than a whole sofa.

The “fillings” of the armchair, both on the backrest and on the seat, are made of medium hardness foam materials that offer premium body support.
The whole armchair is upholstered in high quality velvet fabric giving an attractive look and a sophisticated charm to the decoration of your living room. Velvet is the fabric that cannot leave anyone unmoved! Whether it covers small or large surfaces, it cannot help but make its presence felt in the space and attract attention. Velvet is a fabric that was particularly loved by kings and emperors of past centuries, thus becoming synonymous with luxury and glamour. It has flooded the windows of the biggest stores and is one of the most favorite choices of the most famous decorators worldwide. It is a soft, relaxed, delightful, and elegant fabric that is impossible to resist. The positive thing is that it can be easily harmonized with any type of decoration, giving the space refinement and elegance.
Mini Story: The reason that velvet used to be an object only for the eyes of kings and emperors, was the fact that it was made mainly from silk fibers and in fact with a very special treatment, which required a lot of time and a special loom. Fortunately, today things have changed, and this wonderful fabric is affordable for everyone.
To keep the velvet clean and fluffy, it’s a good idea to vacuum it once a week. Attach a soft brush, set the mild program on your vacuum, and sweep the entire surface in the direction of the grain. You will see that immediately the dust will be removed, and the pile of fabric will be like new.
In no case should you rub a velvet fabric. Even if you must remove a stain, don’t scrub it. Moisten a soft cloth with water and dab locally on the stain.
An ideal choice for cleaning velvet is also leather (that is, the cloths with which we dry the car).
