Mini Story: The story of the Bergere (see bergere) begins somewhere in 1720, in the salons of the Palace of Versailles during the time of Louis XV, where it was considered the seat of the nobles and the upper class. Its construction from special wood, combined with the luxurious fabrics of the time, gave it the feeling of a throne. From its early years it was considered the “queen” of seating, both for the privacy it offered with its open arms, high back and turned sides, and for its dominance of the space as a decorative element. The Bergere armchair changed its appearance over the years (depending on the season and fashion). Dressed in floral fabrics, leather, many different patterns with various textures, even Chesterfield. Although over the years we have seen variations of the bergere design, like dressed arms, higher backrests, bigger cushions, the basic idea of the large, comfortable armchair has never changed. It is made of almost all raw materials (although it is usually synthetic) with special knotted threads or highly twisted threads, so that it has a curly surface. It does not wrinkle and can be plain, melange, checkered or tweed.

MAINTENANCE:
You can wipe the boucle fabric with a vacuum cleaner, while in case of stains use a slightly wet cloth.
